TRAVEL DIARIES2018-10-17T16:32:15+00:00

The world is a book, and those who do not TRAVEL read only a page.

ST. AUGUSTINE

I travel because the best things in life are the ones that are still left to discover. Traveling makes me feel alive, and allows me to do what I most love in life: meet and explore.

Seeing new places, experiencing new cultures, eating local dishes, learning about the history of countries and exploring nature are some of my favorite aspects to traveling.

Above all, the #1 reason that I travel is to step out of my comfort zone by doing things that make me happy.

I can’t be happy staying still, I have a constant need to move and explore new places and to delve into the unbeaten path.

Traveling and photographing creates lifelong memories that I can look back on forever and that I can share.

Colorful London

EUROPE, TRAVEL, UK|

If you think that London is a sad and grey city, you are totally wrong. London is one of the most colorful city I have ever visited. Not only for its world famous red phone booths but also for the lovely colored houses, doors and windows. Either flashy like near Convent Garden or pastel like in Notting Hill.

Four days in New York

July 11th, 2016|0 Comments

During these first hours in Big Apple I wanted to feel the atmosphere of the city like if I was establishing the contact. As a consequence, I did take very few shots that first day preferring feeling the mood. After I left my luggage at the hotel (near Penn Station) I just had time to go south in the Flatiron District, stroll around and met some squirrels in Madison Square, it was already time for dinner.

Madrid

October 24th, 2015|0 Comments

Madrid is above all an art of living like a Spanish. Streets are still almost empty at 10am, restaurants are still crowded in the middle of the afternoon or very late in the evening. It is also a city where one can find himself out of time by visiting the Royal Palace and its sumptuous decors or by strolling in the park of Retiro, haven of peace in the heart of the Spanish capital.

Beauty of Ireland

July 23rd, 2015|0 Comments

After a short stop in Dublin, we headed south through the Wicklow Mountains, then Kilkenny to finally reach the Rock of Cashel. The entire plateau on which the buildings and graveyard lie is walled. In the grounds around the buildings an extensive graveyard includes a number of high crosses.

Lovely Budapest

May 15th, 2012|0 Comments

This is the story of my four days in the capital of Hungary to discover the two facets of Budapest. Buda, the old town perched on its promontory and Pest the modern city sitting just below.
